Male motorcycle rider transported to New Bedford hospital after early morning crash
A motorcycle rider was injured in an early morning crash.
Engine 1, Ambulance 3, and Car 2 responded to the area of 19 Long Point Road for the accident just before 1 am today.
An adult male was transported to St Luke’s Hospital for treatment of injuries from the crash. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening at the time of transport.
This patient transport was 1 of 4 trips by Lakeville ambulances to the New Bedford hospital between 11 pm and 3 am. The other 3 transports were the result of medical emergencies.
Chief O’Brien commended the crews for their continued service to our Town and thank the responders who came in from home to assist (once again).
The crash is under investigation.
