Maintenance and debris removal on Braga Bridge in Fall River, Somerset to impact travel lanes, ramps
FALL RIVER/SOMERSET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced crews will be performing maintenance and debris removal along the curbs on the Braga Bridge carrying I-195 over the Taunton River in Fall River and Somerset.
Work is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26 and be completed by 5 a.m. on Friday, October 27.
Traffic will be controlled by State Police controlled rolling roadblocks on I-195 eastbound and westbound, impacting the right and left lane and ramps.
The schedule for this work is weather dependent and is subject to change without notice.
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
