Maine earthquake felt as far as southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Did you feel it? Some in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island did as an earthquake was registered in northern New England.

According to the United States Geological Survey National Earthquake Information Center, a 3.9 magnitude tremor was recorded 11 km southeast of York Harbor, Maine at approximately 10:23 a.m.

Residents as far as southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island reported that they could feel shaking.

The earthquake measured 13.2 km deep.

No word yet on any damage due to the tremor.
