DARTMOUTH, MA – On Tuesday at approximately 10:30 a.m., Dartmouth Police detectives, with the assistance of members of the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit of Bristol County and the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department, executed a search warrant on Brock Avenue, New Bedford.
During a search of the residence, detectives seized methamphetamine, steroids, and mushrooms. In addition, an improperly stored firearm and approximately $1,800 in U.S. currency were also located.
Because there were children present in the home, the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families was notified, and responded to the residence.
As a result of the incident, 46-year-old Jose Manuel Santos Cordova of New Bedford, was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a Class C drug, possession of a Class E drug, improper storage of a firearm, and three counts of reckless endangerment to a child.
