Local police departments warn public about recent thefts, break-ins
Two local police departments are warning the public about various break-ins in their town.
According to the Tiverton Police Department, the town has been experiencing a rash of break-ins into homes and a business over the past month. Break-ins have been reported on Stafford Road, Fish Road, Main Road (North End), Silver Beech Road, and Warren Avenue.
TPD is asking residents to be vigilant. Secure your homes, sliding doors, and windows. Report any and all suspicious behavior in your neighborhoods.

According to Dartmouth PD, the town has recently seen an uptick in car break-ins in the south end of town (Dartmouth Street area). The department has been conducting directed patrols, but they are recommending that residents do the following:
•Lock your doors and close your windows
•Park in well-lit areas
•Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle
•Invest in an alarm system
•If you have an exterior camera on your property, please review the footage daily
