Liberty Utilities, Ferreira Construction announce road work taking place on 15 streets for week of October 10th

Officials have released a bulletin to give residents and drivers a heads-up concerning road construction that is expected to take place in the city this week.

According to Liberty Utilities and Ferreira Construction, the following Fall River streets are expected to have road construction for the week of October 10th. Delays and road closures are expected at these locations.

Baird St.
Brayton Ave between Jefferson & Stevens Streets. One lane will be open.
Fifth St at Hartwell St – On Tuesday, Fifth St will be blocked for the day between Brow & Hartwell Streets.
Gatehouse Dr.
Highland Avenue between Prospect & Maple Streets.
Jefferson St. – between Brayton Ave and Warren St.
Maple St. – between Linden and Hanover Streets.
Prospect St at Linden St. – Saturday (10/8) work. Entrance to hospital will be inaccessible for the day. Hospital staff was notified.
Quarry St. – in front of Auto Zone. Street will be open to local businesses.
Ridge St.
Rock St. – between Lincoln Ave and Pearce St.
Rodman St. – work on Wednesday in front of ABC.
Shawmut St.
Stetson St.
Wamsutta St.
