Let’s Go! To the Family LEGO Night at Fall River Public Library
The program will also feature a raffle for books and other prizes.
“Build a Rocket Ship” will be the challenge of this month’s Family Lego Night at the Fall River Public Library, 104 North Main Street, Tuesday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m.
Fans of the colorful little pieces of plastic will be urged to think “intergalactic” for this challenge, as children will be asked to design and construct their own Lego rocket ships! “Whether they are rockets, flying saucers or space stations, we want to see how imaginative children can be with their creations!” said Supervisor of Children’s Services David Mello.
Each child will receive a set of miniature plastic robot figures to include as the crew members for their creations. The finished spaceships will be exhibited for a month in the display cases located just outside the Children’s Room. The program will also feature a raffle for books and other prizes. This free event is recommended for families with children ages 5 and up.
For further information contact David Mello at 508-324-2700 ext. 4.
