Lane and shoulder closures coming to bridge on I-195
REHOBOTH – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that it will be performing bridge maintenance operations on the bridge at Interstate 195 westbound over the Palmer River beginning on Monday, December 2, and continuing through to Friday, December 13.
The maintenance operations are scheduled to occur daily during the daytime hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Temporary lane and shoulder closures utilizing police details will be implemented on I-195 westbound between the hours of 9:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. A minimum of two open travel lanes will be maintained at all times.
Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
