Lakeville Police investigating Monday robbery
LAKEVILLE – Police Chief Matthew Perkins reports that the Lakeville Police Department is actively investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon.
Lakeville Police responded to the Eastern Bank branch located at 45 Main Street at 3:10 p.m. for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers received a report that a man had passed a note to a teller demanding money.
The suspect showed no weapon and fled the bank with an undisclosed quantity of cash in a waiting vehicle.
Police believed that the getaway vehicle may have left from the parking lot of a closed bowling alley at 51 Main St.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-feet tall, and he was said to be wearing a medical-style mask, blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The robbery is under investigation by the Lakeville Police Department and the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force.
