Lakeville Fire Department responds to Route 140 after truck catches fire while being driven

Crews were sent to a local highway Wednesday night just before midnight for a pickup on fire.

According to the Lakeville Fire Department, Engine 2 and Tanker 1 responded to Route 140 from the station. Car 1 and Car 2 responded from their residences.

Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle engulfed in flames.

The lone occupant reports that she was able to pull over and jump free of the vehicle when the fire broke out.

Crews remained on scene until the vehicle was recovered.
