Lakeville and Taunton crews respond to multi-vehicle crash involving collision with home

Bristol County and Plymouth County crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday.

According to the Lakeville Fire Department, a Lakeville residence sustained damage Sunday following a motor vehicle crash just after 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Myricks and Kingman Streets.

Two passenger vehicles collided, causing one to leave the roadway and strike the home located at 47 Myricks Street.

Lakeville Ambulance 2 came upon the crash while transporting a patient to the hospital for a medical emergency. A recall was transmitted, allowing the response of Ambulance 3, Engine 2, and Car 1. The Taunton Fire Department also responded with an engine, along with Brewster Ambulance.

Paramedics evaluated a total of five individuals at the scene; none required transport to the hospital.

The residence sustained damage to its foundation. The homeowners reported that this is not the first time the property has been struck by vehicles leaving the roadway.
