Lakeville and Freetown respond to highway rollover crash that sends 1 to New Bedford hospital

A highway crash on Wednesday morning sent a person to a local hospital.

According to the Lakeville Fire Department responded to Route 140 north (south of County Street) for a rollover crash. The 911 call sent to Freetown, giving their responders a head start.

One patient was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

The combined resources of both Departments proved to be needed.

During the accident response, Lakeville Ambulance 1 responded to Lebaron Country Club for an individual with a traumatic injury. The person was in a remote location requiring supplemental staffing.
