Juvenile boy injured in dirt bike collision in the area of Fall River school

Police are investigating a crash that took place Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the Fall River Police Department is currently investigating a dirt bike accident involving a juvenile operator in the area of Atlantis Charter School, 991 Jefferson Street.

The call came in just before 3:45 p.m. and involved a boy, according to scanner transmissions.

The individual has been transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Accident Reconstruction and Crime Scene Units are on scene and actively conducting an investigation. The public is asked to avoid the area to allow officers to work safely and efficiently.
