Injuries sustained after vehicle rolls over in crash on Route 140
A driver sustained injures after an early morning crash in southeastern Massachusetts.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, crews were alerted to a Route 140 accident just before 3:00 a.m. this morning. Early information placed the accident on the south bound side, a mile north of County Street.
Crews found the vehicle had been traveling south on the highway but came to rest on the north bound side of the center barrier.
Ambulance 3, Engine 1, Car 2, and Car 1 responded to the highway. Ambulance 2, with recalled firefighters, started out but was canceled before arrival.
An adult male was transported from the crash to St. Luke’s Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
