Incident between Fall River neighbors results in Assault & Battery with Dangerous Weapon, Home Invasion, Vandalism charges
A Fall River woman is facing multiple charges, police and court records say.
According to Det. Sergeant Matthew Mendes, FRPD officers responded to the 400 block of Third Street Wednesday night, for a reported past Assault & Battery that occurred between neighbors.
The case is still open; however, investigators findings resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for 58-year-old Joan Cruz for the charges of A&B w/ Dangerous Weapon, Home Invasion, and Vandalism.
No other details were released.
On Thursday, Cruz was located, arraigned, and pled not guilty. She was released on Personal Recognizance on the condition that she have no contact and stay away from victims/witnesses.
A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for January.
