Immigration and Customs Enforcement announces two local arrests in Massachusetts

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Boston has announced two recent, local, arrests.

ICE Boston arrested 44-year-old Thiago Miguel De Oliveira Sousa, a Portuguese national, on Tuesday.

He’s been arrested for three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest.

ICE Boston also arrested Maksim Anatol Yevich Shalypin, a 39-year-old Ukrainian national, on Wednesday.

He’s been convicted of assault, malicious destruction of property, operating under the influence, and five counts of violating an abuse prevention order in Massachusetts.

Both men are facing removal from the United States.
