Illegal dumping at Fall River park leads to citations for 36-year-old Fall River resident
A city resident has been cited after a dumping at a Fall River park.
Four days ago, the above image was shared on Fall River Reporter after a large amount of household trash was illegally dumped at Father Travassos Park.
According to Fall River Police, the image was brought to the attention of Officers Eric Pacheco and Timothy Magan of the Special Operations Division. Officers Pacheco and Magan immediately initiated an investigation.
They were able to identify the 36-year-old Fall River resident responsible for disposing of these items at Father Travassos Park. He has been issued two citations totaling $600 for Littering and Depositing in parks. Their name was not released.
City Councilor Andrew Raposo contacted DCM and they quickly removed the trash.

Wonder how many other places he’s been or going to dump his trash. Let’s really think about it.

$600? This sub-human trash should be jailed for 25 years. Good job helping to destroy the City I was born into. This is clearly the work of a habitual litter monster.

Make the Punishment so outrageous that people think twice about any form of littering 🤯

Give him 500 hours community service on top of the fine. Make him clean up other people’s litter and maybe it will make an impact.
Also, dox the asshat that did this.

If you think that’s isolated then you must live in isolation. The talk of bringing back pay as you throw along with or in place of a household trash beat is going to ignite a fury of dumping throughout the city. No yards and streets not always visible to the General Public while driving I’ll Prime targets. The city had over 10 years to address this issue and they haven’t. The city also under the current Administration has had three terms to come up with the player. Three terms and 90 million dollars in free cash and now they want to do a tax override and bring back tracks fees. No one wanted to listen when we told you the spending was out of control and unnecessary and would come back to bite Us in the backside. Now you can take your head out of the shed and cry again but you continue to vote for the same people.

Perhaps locking him in a jail cell packed from floor to ceiling with trash AND garbage for a few years would encourage him to never litter ever again. Damn pig.
