Homey Bristol County diner to soon server their last breakfast and lunch
A homey Bristol County diner will soon be serving its last breakfast.
According to a social media post, Mark Chandley, owner of Country Kitchen at 469 Taunton Avenue in Seekonk is retiring, leading to the restaurants closure later this month.
“Bittersweet though it is, the time has come to announce that the last day of the Country Kitchen being open will be Sunday, December 22. We hope to see everyone between now and the 22nd to enjoy a meal and wish Mark well as he enters retirement. We are so grateful for the community you all have helped us build at the Country Kitchen and despite the excitement for the next phase, it will be hard to not see everyone every day.”
Country Kitchen serves breakfast all day including eggs, omelets, pancakes, sausage, bacon, ham, sausage/corned beef/or chourico hash, chourico, linguica, home fries, and French toast. After 11 a.m. during the week, they also serve burgers, hot dogs, steak or pastrami sandwiches, French fries, and BLTs.
