Hispanic buffet opening in Fall River Saturday

If you are a fan of Hispanic food then you are in luck.

Owner Gladirys Verdejo is opening up The Island Buffet at the former Blount location at 840 Bedford Street in the city on Saturday.

The location seats 25 people.

The Hispanic food buffet will be open:

• Saturday: 11 am-9pm
• Sunday: 11 am to 7pm
• Mondays: (CLOSED)
• Tuesday to Thursday: 11 am-7pm

Pricing is as follows:

• Adults $ 14.99 + tax
• Children $ 7.99 + tax
• Does not include drink ($1.75)
• Unlimited refill orders to take out or pick up the dish $ 10.00 + tax (only one type of rice, meat, salad and beans)

Verdejo went in front of the Fall River Licensing Board and was granted a Common Victuallers License.
