Heritage State Park holding Fall River Family Fun Day
The fun of summer is not over yet!
Join Fall River Heritage State Park & Friends for an afternoon of fun for everyone!
A Family Fun Day will be taking place on August 25th at Fall River Heritage State Park between noon ad 4:00 PM. Music in the City on the meadow, crafts, nature walks, chalking, magic bubbles and more!
Everything is free!
Some of the expected activities include:
• Delight to Music in the City with members of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra from 3:00-4:00 Beat the heat and catch a film in our air-conditioned theater!
• Bubble up in our “how big a bubble can you make?” challenge
• Chalk it up in the Chalkapalooza
• Play field games & hula hoop
• Stroll the boardwalk. (Perhaps you’ll meet a superhero or 2)
• Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the meadow,
• Create crafts and kites with the Greater Fall River Art Association
• Meet organizers from the Creative Arts Network, Fall River Re-Creation, the Lafayette-Durfee House and so much more!
An adult must accompany children.
