Here are where free Thanksgiving meals are being served, and donations are being accepted in Fall River

The City of Fall River has released a list of places offering food for Thanksgiving and those taking donations for those less fortunate.

Thanksgiving Day Fall River community turkey dinner at Blessed Trinity Parish

Blessed Trinity Parish, 1340 Plymouth Ave., Fall River, is hosting a free Thanksgiving Day community dinner.

Dinner will be served at noon, and doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Seating capacity is for the first 125 guests.

Parking is located behind the church.

Anyone in need of some food and some company is welcome.

Fall River Pride Committee and The Church of the Holy Spirit celebrate Friendsgiving 2025

The Fall River Pride Committee and The Church of the Holy Spirit, 160 Rock St., Fall River, are hosting Friendsgiving 2025 on Sunday, Nov. 30, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Volunteers report at 10 a.m.

Come and share a community meal at this free event.

It will be a potluck, so bring a dish to share if you can, although it’s not required.

Free Thanksgiving dinner for homeless community at Fall River’s Cultural Event Center

Thrive For Humanity invites the local homeless community to a free Thanksgiving banquet on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Cultural Event Center, 205 S. Main St., Fall River.

Prince Henry Society of Fall River Thanksgiving food drive

The Prince Henry Society of Fall River is holding a Thanksgiving food drive on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Portugalia Marketplace (489 Bedford St.) and Seabra Foods (440 Stafford Road). Donations of non-perishable food items will also be accepted through Nov. 21 at:

Neto Insurance, 1465 Pleasant St.

St. Anthony of Padua Federal Credit Union, 806 Bedford St.

Fortified Realty Group, 16A Bedford St.

Botelho Law Group, 901 Eastern Ave.

Cash and check donations are also welcome. Checks should be made payable to The Prince Henry Society.

This year’s food drive is to benefit St. Anne’s Food Pantry, the Veterans Association, Sacred Heart Food Pantry, Holy Trinity Soup Kitchen, St. John of God Food Pantry, and more.

Thanksgiving food drive at Al Mac’s Diner

Al Mac’s Diner, 135 President Ave., Fall River, is holding a Thanksgiving food drive to benefit Angels Anonymous.

They’re collecting non-perishable food items like stuffing, gravy, instant mashed potatoes, canned veggies, cranberry sauce, and cake/bread/brownie/cookie mixes.

Foil baking pans are also being collected.

Donations are being accepted daily, from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., until Saturday, Nov. 22.

If there’s construction work going on out front, use the Pearce Street entrance.

Shorty’s Pub collecting Thanksgiving food donations

Shorty’s Pub, 87 Aetna St., Fall River, has a Thanksgiving food donation drop box to help support Angels Anonymous.

The most-needed items are gravy, canned cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cake mixes, and gift cards to purchase turkeys.

Drop-offs are being collected until Nov. 22.
