Here are three bonded pairs of cats in Fall River; one of which unfortunately had their owner pass away

Fall River Forever Paws has had a few people calling looking for bonded pairs of cats lately and they just haven’t had any…and now they have plenty and three of them are the Pet(s) of the Week!

Eliza & Darwin are both seven years old and they’re sweet as pie! Despite looking remarkably similar (they even weigh almost exactly the same), they are NOT litter mates, but they have been together since they were both six or seven weeks old so nearly their entire lives! They both like comfy, cozy places to snuggle and are settling into shelter life surprisingly well. They are friendly with people and get along well with other cats (even the ornery ones like Butterball).

Nocturne & Nebula are in a similar boat. They are both eight years old, but FO is unsure if they are litter mates. What they do know is that their owner unfortunately passed away so there’s a lot of uncertainty and upheaval going on in their lives right now. Nocturne is a big boy at almost 12lbs and his face shape and fur type make him look almost Maine Coon-ish (he could be…they’re not sure.) Nebula is more petite at about 8.5lbs. Nocturne is forever doing this little grumble but doesn’t show any signs of aggression so that might just be how he communicates. Nebula is a sweet, shy girl that doesn’t do much fussing.

Forever Paws also have a third bonded pair of 8mo Russian Blue mix females coming up named Laverne and Shirley, just no photos yet!
