Heavy rain, gusty winds, thunderstorms, and fog forecast throughout the area

According to the National Weather Service, the area is expected to see heavy rain, strong winds, fog, and possible thunderstorms starting tonight. By the time it is all said and done, we could see a total of almost 2 inches of rain.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after midnight. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Areas of fog after 11pm. South wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

On Thursday, showers are expected and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Areas of fog between 9am and 10am. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

On Thursday night, a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then a slight chance of showers between 10pm and 11pm. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
