Have any parking tickets? Fall River parking ticket annual amnesty program set to begin

Now is the time to pay off your tickets in Fall River if you have a late fee.

The long standing program takes place from December 1st until December 31st 2019. During this time, late fees will be removed from tickets. This is your opportunity to pay off past due parking tickets.

According to Assistant to the Mayor Monica Sousa, the program is for any tickets that are flagged at the registry of motor vehicles. Only the late fees can be dismissed.

Your plate number will be needed and you must pay in person at the Traffic and Parking Department at Government Center.

Keep in mind that Government Center has extended hours on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All other weekdays are open until 5:00 p.m.. For more information, you can reach the department at (508) 324-2123.
