Guest speakers, services available at Thursday’s Greater Fall River Addiction Help Center
The Greater Fall River Addiction Help Center will once again be opening this week.
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, the Addiction Help Center will connect you with services on the spot NO WAIT LISTS. Many different community providers participate: Recovery Coaching, Partial Hospital Programs, outpatient therapy, harm reduction, Narcan training/free Narcan, Peer 2 Peer and other recovery communities, 12 step programs, homeless services, grief support, etc. As a guest coming in you will be met by a person in recovery to help guide you to the service you need. All are welcome and respected.
Thursday’s guests from Teen Challenge will share their journey to recovery and how Teen Challenge played a role. Teen Challenge is a long term residential program for ADULTS. The program is not insurance based and they don’t turn anyone away due to cost.
The Center will be open Thursday March 28th at Government Center- City Hall, Fall River from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
