Gold ticket leads to $1 million Massachusetts State Lottery instant game winner

A Massachusetts winner struck “gold” leading to a big State Lottery scratch ticket win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, CST Nominee Trust of Greenfield has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Gold 50X” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee George Goodridge III, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Weatherheads Convenience Store, 63 French King Hwy. in Erving. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Gold 50X has two $4,000,000 and three $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
