A fundraiser has been created for a Fall River family after a fire to their home on Easter Sunday.

Just before 11:00 a.m. a call came into dispatch for flames in the rear of a home at 100 Hancock in the area of the A/C unit.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire showing and quickly knocked it down and protected exposures.

According to the Fall River Firefighter Union, Engine 4, Engine 5, Engine 9, Ladder 2 and Ladder 4A, Heavy Rescue 1, and Car 3, responded to the scene.

According to a family friend and a GoFundMe fundraiser, all three residents and the family dog escaped the home safely, but they lost just about everything they own.

Clothes for the three and items for the dog are also being collected through the fundraiser.

The fire is under investigation.
