Fun to be had at next week’s Westport Fair
Many Fall River Residents were disappointed when the carnival on Alden Street had to be cancelled. Next week an alternative is headed to our area.
The 63rd Westport Fair will be held on July 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 at 200 Pine Hill Road in Westport.
There will be a carnival, tractor pulls, an animal tent, live music, food and more.
Admission is $5 and children under 12 are free. According to the fair, the money raised by the fair will be used to operate the fair, reinvest in the fairgrounds, distribute to graduating seniors as college scholarships, and other donations to the town.
Free parking is also available on the north side of the fair. The fair asks patrons to refrain from parking on Pine Hill Road.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night, 11 a.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday. On the weekend the carnival opens at noon.
