Fun run brings powerboats to Fall River waterfront
Fall River may not be having the formal powerboat races this summer, but that isn’t stopping them from arriving from all over the country for a fun run.
According to Fall River Harbormaster Bob Smith, Borden Light Marina is hosting the rendezvous for the owners of boats made by Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats. Owners from all over the country as far away as California are bringing their boats to Fall River, and will be docked at Borden Light Marina for the next three days.
This is not a formal race according to Smith, but the boats will be making runs around the river all weekend.
This is an opportunity to get an “up close” look at these amazing boats.
They are docked at the marina and everyone is welcome to come down on the docks, take pictures, talk to the owners. It’s like an “in water” boat show!
