Fun, food, activities and beautifully decorated trees to transform Government Center
A place that is normally known for conducting city business will be once again transformed into a fun, Christmas and Holiday event.
The 5th Annual “Festival of Trees” is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th from 11:00AM – 3:00PM where visitors will be welcomed to view decorated trees and enjoy live musical performances by local artists, along with experiencing a candy store, holiday shopping area with free gift wrapping, refreshments, a visit from Santa and more.
The schedule is as follows:
11:00 a.m. Tree Judging
11:30 a.m. Santa arrives
11:00-11:50 a.m. Al Deston on keyboard
12:00 p.m.-12:50 p.m. Holiday Tunes
1:00 p.m.-1:50 p.m. Lou Leeman on Guitar and vocals
2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. To Be Announced
Activities include:
-Come meet the newly crowned Olivia Marques Miss Fall River, Abigail Souza Miss Bristol County’s Outstanding Teen, and Brooklyn Toli Miss South Coast.
-French Cafe serving Blount Soups, Pastries, Beverages
-Holiday Banquet Table with food samples
-Fun Faire servings-mini hotdogs, popcorn, cotton candy
-Candy station
-Ornament making with newly crowned representatives
-Santa’s Workshop with Home Depot-Crafts for kids painting, spin art, sand art, reindeer food and more.
-Live Mistletoe Making
-Holiday Marketplace with Free gift wrapping
