Frugal Franks announces business is up for sale
A popular store in Fall River is saying goodbye, but may stick around with new owners.
Frugal Franks, located at 126 Shove Street, announced that retirement is coming, but they are now looking for a buyer.
Known as today’s Building 19, Frugal Franks owner Frank Wright issued the following statement:
“Here at Frugal Franks we want to THANK YOU for your patronage, business and loyalty..You have made us feel appreciated and honored to be there to help you save and stretch your money.”
“We have been HONORED to have customers like you. Many of you have become more than just paying customers. You have become friends and family.”
“FRUGAL FRANKS will be RETIRING as of May 01(maybe sooner). We hope that you will continue to come in and enjoy the awesome deals and the new clearances. We would love for everyone to come by and at least visit with us to say goodbye.”
When we contacted Frank Wright, previously, he stated that there was no plan for a transfer in ownership. He now has had a change of heart.
“The answer to the million dollar question that everyone keeps asking us…YES…YES, we will sell. Owner financing available. Stock, contracts, equipment. Serious inquiries only..Come in and talk to us. We are excited about retirement, but we would love to leave knowing our customers would be taken care of.”
