FRPD narcotics investigation leads to arrest of Fall River man
Fall River Police have made an arrest after suspected drug related activity.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, on Wednesday, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, members of the Vice, Intelligence, and Gang Unit were conducting surveillance on an individual suspected of illegal narcotics sales in the City of Fall River.
The surveillance operation culminated with a traffic stop in the area of Milliken Boulevard. Once detectives made contact with 26-year-old Edwin Miliano, he was taken into custody for operating the vehicle with a suspended license.
A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 500 grams of a white powdery substance suspected to be fentanyl, an additional 1.3 grams of suspected fentanyl, and $440 in cash.
Miliano was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of a Class A Drug and operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
