Friends remember Rhode Island man who died from injuries in motorcycle crash
Friends are remembering a Rhode Island motorcycle rider killed in a crash on Wednesday.
According to multiple reports, Cranston Police responded to a crash just after 1:00 a.m. on Old Bald Hill Road.
40-year-old Robert Seeley of Warwick was riding south on Old Bald Hill Road on a a 2009 Harley Davidson when he lost control at a slight left turn just before the Cottrell Street intersection and was thrown from the motorcycle.
Seeley was found lying in the roadway with severe injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
He was not wearing a helmet and speed and alcohol are believed to be possible factors in the crash.
Seeley was described by those who knew him as a funny guy and a great friend who was always there to give advice when needed or to just have a good time. The Joint Bar and Grill in Cranston was one of his favorite hangouts. He leaves behind children who he loved more than anything.
Services have yet to be announced.
