Friend of RSPCA offers $2,000 reward leading to arrest of suspect who killed Fall River cat
When a friend of the Rhode Island SPCA saw the tragic story of the cat named “Wolf’, who was shot and ultimately killed by a BB in Fall River, he felt compelled to do something about it.
Despite the incident being outside of the Rhode Island SPCA’s jurisdiction, this generous supporter still recognized that animal cruelty knows no boundaries.
While he wishes his identity to remain anonymous, he is offering a $2000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this case.
The RSPCA hopes this act of kindness encourages those with information to come forward, providing a swift resolution to the case, closure for the family, and justice for “Wolf”.
The reward is simply being offered by “A Friend of the Rhode Island SPCA”
Any information provided to the RISPCA will be shared with the Fall River Police Department
You can contact the FRPD directly at 508-676-8511 or Detective Luis Vertentes LVertentes@FRPD.ORG,
Officer David St. Laurent DSTLAURENT@FRPD.ORG. or call anonymously on the FRPD tip line at 508-672-TIPS (8477).
