Freetown Police rescue disabled motorist in Fall River/Freetown State Forest

At approximately 2:59 p.m. Saturday, the Freetown Police Department received an emergency 911 call from a disabled motorist in the Freetown State Forest. The reporting individual advised police that half of her vehicle was submerged in water. Police were able to identify her location from a longitude and latitude coordinate, Cedar Swamp Rd.
Officer Patrick Lee responded to the scene with the FPD XUV Gator and located the occupants and disabled vehicle. No injuries were reported. Big Wheels was requested to remove the vehicle from the area.
MA Environmental Police were notified and also responded to the scene.
