Freetown Police and Fire respond to fiery crash with injuries that has shutdown roadway

Crews have responded to a local crash with injuries on Saturday.

According to police, Chace Road is closed between Route 140 South Ramps and the intersection of Braley Rd., Gurney Rd., and Chace Rd. in Freetown due to a motor vehicle crash involving downed wires and a snapped utility pole.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. a call came into dispatch for a fiery crash with injuries in the area of 12 Chase Road.

The road reopened on Sunday morning.

The crash is under investigation and the severity of injuries wasn’t immediately available.
