Freetown Police and Fire respond to church grounds after vehicle crashes into building causing injury
One person has been injured after a vehicle collided with a building in Freetown.
According to Freetown Police, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Freetown Police and Fire were alerted to an incident at St. John Neumann Church involving a motor vehicle accident. Eyewitnesses reported a vehicle collision with the building.
One person has been transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
Eversource Gas and Electric Utility services were promptly called to the scene, along with the Freetown Building Inspector.
After Big Wheels Towing and Recovery removed the vehicle, the first responders successfully cleared the area.
An ongoing investigation is currently underway by both police and fire.
