Freetown, Berkley personnel respond to motorcycle crash with injuries in State Forest

Crews responded to a weekend crash with injuries near a local landmark.

According to the Freetown Fire Department, just prior to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, Freetown was dispatched to the area of “The Ledge” in the Freetown State Forest for a motorcycle rider involved in an accident.

At the time, both Freetown Ambulances and the duty crew were committed to other medical emergencies.

Freetown Police assisted with locating the patient who was treated and extricated from the forest with UTV 2 to a waiting mutual aid ambulance from Berkley Fire & Rescue.

The crash is under investigation.
