Free Play Bar Arcade with over 100 games aiming to open in Taunton today

Like playing a bunch of arcade games both retro and new? This may be right up your alley.
Free Play Bar Arcade, with locations in Providence and Worcester, is taking over the former Pizzeria Uno’s at 904 County Street on Route 140 as its third location.
According to the City of Taunton, at long last, all the permits and licenses have been secured, and Free Play Bar Arcade Taunton will open today at 4pm.
Free Play features 105 different video games from retro favorites, including Frogger, Pac-Man, Q-Bert, Atari Food Fight and more, 18 pinball games and new wave dance games that once adorned Round One at the former Galleria Mall site are also available.
This is a 21-and-over facility, although “Family Days” on Sunday afternoons will be offered in the weeks to come.
Admittance will be $8 Sunday through Thursday, $12 on Friday and Saturday and then all the games are free to play!
Bar Pizza will be served and they offer a full bar. Pizzas will be served in a box with paper plates to encourage people to walk around and play games.
