Free Family Night in Fall River to feature Toe Jam Puppet Band, face painting, balloon sculpting, raffle and more
Looking for some summer fun the entire family will enjoy? Then look no farther than the Fall River Public Library’s annual Family Night!
The event, featuring music, crafts and other fun activities, will take place on the library’s front lawn at 104 N Main Street on Tuesday, August 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is free to the public. In the event of rain, the event will take place in the library.
Highlighting this year’s Family Night will be the popular Toe Jam Puppet Band. Families are invited to bring blankets to spread on the lawn and enjoy the interactive songs and engaging antics of these high-energy performers. The evening will also feature several outdoor activities for kids including face painting and balloon sculpting. Children can also create their own unicorn masks while supplies are available.
Lending a touch of mystery to the night, there will be a free raffle for a “Mystery Box”! What’s contained inside is anyone’s guess, but parents and children are welcome to register to win this mysterious prize! The winner will be announced at the program’s end, and the winner must be present to collect the prize.
This event is part of the library’s summer reading club and is sponsored by both Rockland Trust Bank and the Friends of the Fall River Public Library.
