Greater Fall River RE-CREATION has announced the 3rd annual Community Block Party on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. Due the potential rainy weather, the event will be moved indoors.

The event will run for three hours beginning at noon and finishing by 3:00 p.m. and will now take place at the Durfee High School Gymnasium (Luke Urban Field House) located at 360 Elsbree Street.

You are in store for a free fun filled afternoon featuring a rock wall, face painting, photo booth, spray paint art, caricaturists, balloon art, free giveaways, and resource tables from members in and around our community. Plus, there will be free food, refreshments, a DJ spinning the latest tunes, and more!

This is a free event for the public courtesy of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Gun Violence Prevention Program.

For more information, please call Greater Fall River RE-CREATION at (508) 679-0922.

This is ‘Wonderful’ it reminds me of the ‘Old Days’, when Neighbors were like Family, and we all looked out for one another.

I remember local Church’s would have gatherings like this, and nice family times.

Looks like Hard Economic times coming after the Election, some now are deeply hurting.
I remember hard times during the Carter Years, but not like the ‘Great Depression.’
