Former owner of Fall River bakery passes away at 87-years-old
A Fall River woman who left an impact on the community both through her personality and talents has passed away.
87-year-old Maria Capela, the former owner of Lucky Loaf Bakery on Rodman Street, died Friday at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
According to an obituary, Maria’s family was the cornerstone of her life. Faith and community were also of the utmost importance.
While Maria was dedicated to family, faith, and her community, most remember her for the delicious treats she created at Lucky Loaf Bakery.
Her many friends and family remember Maria for her strength and compassion.
Maria’s funeral arrangements will be private.
