Former Fall River Mayor’s MA Senate endorsement announced

Fall River, MA – Geoff Diehl, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, announced that former Democratic Majority House Whip and former Fall River Mayor Bob Correia has formally endorsed his candidacy.

“As a state lawmaker, Geoff Diehl understands that he needs to work for his constituents, not for a career in national politics,” said Bob Correia (D-Fall River). “Geoff knows our city. He knows our community, and he will make an excellent U.S. Senator.” He is someone who I believe can deliver the bacon. Washington is the largest ‘bacon factory’ in the world and right now, no one is delivering for Fall River, New Bedford, or any of the South Coast communities. I think he will.”
