Former Fall River hair salon owner and President of the Maplewood Neighborhood Association passes away

A Fall River native and business owner who gave her time to the neighborhood she loved has died.

82-year-old Juliette “Julie” Jasmin passed away on Thursday.

According to an obituary, Jasmin was the owner of House of Jasmine Hair Salon on Stafford Road in Fall River for 48 years. She was also a former President of the Maplewood Neighborhood Association.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 3rd, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with a funeral service at 12:15 p.m., at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street, Fall River. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
