Forecasted snow totals increase in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut as Winter Weather Advisories and Warnings issued
The forecasted snow totals in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut have increased.
According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 10:00 a.m. Saturday for portions of central, eastern, southeastern, and western Massachusetts and northern and southern Rhode Island.
Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.
A Winter Weather Advisory has also been issued from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 10:00 a.m. Saturday for Northern Middlesex, Northern New London, Southern Middlesex, and Southern New London Counties.
Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Connecticut, Hartford County and in Massachusetts, Western Hampden County.
Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
