First Bristol Corporation, an entity specializing in hospitality, retail, office, and residential properties in the Fall River area and beyond, has announced that they have acquired the 96-room Residence Inn on Faunce Corner Road in North Dartmouth.

In revealing the acquisition, First Bristol stated that the three-story hotel is ideally located near key regional destinations, including the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, the City of New Bedford, the City of Fall River, and several major medical and corporate centers.

“We see tremendous upside potential in this property and plan to invest over $5 million in first-class renovations that will enhance the guest experience while maintaining the property’s affiliation with Marriott International, while enhancing operational performance and guest experience through thoughtful upgrades and investment,” said Jeffrey Karam, Co-Chief Executive Officer of First Bristol Corporation.

The Residence Inn features spacious extended-stay suites with full kitchens, complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, and modern amenities tailored to both short and long-term guests.

“The Dartmouth area is growing, and with its proximity to major institutions and coastal destinations, we believe this hotel will continue to thrive. Our planned upgrades will help position it as a top lodging choice for visitors to the South Coast. We remain committed to smart growth, quality service, and community partnership,” said Jamie Karam, Co-Chief Executive Officer of First Bristol Corporation.
