Firefighter crews respond to fiery early-morning crash on Route 140
Crews responded early this morning to a fiery motor vehicle crash.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, a vehicle accident occurred just after 3:00 a.m. today on Route 140 (north), in the area of exit 12.
The resulting fire quickly spread to nearby vegetation due to dry weather conditions.
Lakeville Firefighters were able to contain and extinguish the fire quickly.
Responding companies included Engine 2, Tanker 1, and Car 2.
LFD reported that, thankfully, there were no injuries.
