Those who knew a Fall River man who died last week are wondering what led to his demise.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, 78-year-old Ronald Kresowaty died on Friday at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

The decedent had been transported from Brightman Street in Fall River on Thursday, 9/11/25 after a 911 call was placed from the residence.”

The BCDAO stated that the matter involving Kresowaty’s death is pending awaiting autopsy results from the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

With the autopsy pending, a family member, who contacted Fall River Reporter, and a GoFundMe fundraiser, both suggest that there may be foul play.

“Ron—a proud veteran—was found non-responsive on September 11th, his body badly battered & bruised before tragically passing away at the hospital on September 12th. His death is now under investigation…”
