Family members release name of 39-year-old man killed in Taunton motorcycle crash
The name of a man killed in a fatal motorcycle crash on Tuesday has been released by family.
According to Taunton Police, at just after 1:45 p.m., the Taunton Police Department received reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near 150 Charles F. Colton Road.
The operator of the Harley Davidson motorcycle, a 39-year-old East Taunton man, was transported by ambulance to Morton Hospital in Taunton, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to family, Tyler Mihm lost control of his bike rounding a corner and was thrown onto the pavement. He was found unresponsive at the scene. Medical teams tried to revive him, but he succumbed to his injuries.
The crash is under investigation by Taunton Police detectives, the Taunton Police Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
