A family is looking for the public’s help after a sentimental item was stolen in Fall River.

Stefanie DeLima says that at some point overnight on Christmas Eve, her mother’s white Audi was broken into in her driveway around the upper Bedford Street/Stonehaven Road area.

According to DeLima, the family lost a precious piece of artwork and are looking for its return.

“We don’t care to recover any material items, but in one of the bags was a drawing my sister Julie made when she was younger (maybe 4-years-old) of herself and my sister Nichole, who passed 6 years ago. My mom’s intention was to get this drawing framed, and now it’s gone.”

Nichole Pazio died at just 16-years-old.

The drawing was of a small child on the right side calling out with a speech bubble “Nichole!” to a smiling Nichole sitting on the ground in the center, surrounded by candy and ice cream on a beautiful summer day at the park.

If anyone knows any information that can help them recover this drawing, DeLima says that her family will not only provide a cash reward but will do so with no questions asked.

“I will provide an address for the drawing to be mailed to anonymously so no one will get in trouble. We do not care to get anyone caught. We genuinely want to recover a sentimental piece. Everything else that was taken, can be kept.”
